When meeting a client at their home....suggest to sit at the kitchen/dining room table. Use eye contact and always start out asking them fact finding questions. Be empathetic and always excuse yourself (near the end of the presentation) to "use the bathroom" if you are talking with a married couple so they have a moment to discuss their thoughts. Make sure you ask for a referral before leaving by letting them know you would like to help take care of their friends and families needs as well.
