How St. Patrick Can Help You Promote Your Business

Here's a few tips that will help you build a better relationship with your clients and prospects, and the most important thing...make more money.

As you know, from my constant ranting, you must keep in contact with your clients and prospects on at least a monthly basis. And if you forgot why, the reasons are many, but probably the most important is YOU DON'T WANT your clients and prospects to forget about you (and they do; studies show that at least 10% of your customers forget about you every month that you do not contact them).

Here are three events that are coming that will give you an excuse to contact your clients and prospects (and some content to work with):

-St. Patrick's Day

-First Day Of Spring


Can you think of any unique promotions or information to provide your clients? Here's an idea for starters....St. Patrick's Day is mostly recognized by wearing the color green, cloverleafs, and Irish themes. The color green is obviously the color of money, so one promotion idea would be to attach money to a prospecting letter (or fake money). The key with this is to explain why you are attaching money, and you can explain the fact that it's St. Patrick's Day and you simply want to get their attention because you have something important you want to tell them.

The other option is to provide information on St. Patrick's Day, and the first day of Spring in your newsletter, and then use some sort of tie-in with financial planning and/or estate planning (or no tie-in at all, just provide interesting information).
