Let Me Think About It Objection and How To Overcome It

Let Me Think About It Objection and How To Overcome It: When a prospect has to take time to think about it or discuss it with others I tell them that even though they have to decide what to do the carrier has to decide whether they want to insure the prospect so lets get that part of the process started so that the decision you make will be more solid if you know that you are accepted or even qualify for a better rating, (preferred).

When a client says to me that they want to think about it (the tension is usually high at this point) I say "how does two to three weeks sound?" (releases the tension) They say, "that is plenty of time". Great, while your thinking about us we will be thinking about you, to make sure that you are as healthy looking on the inside as you appear to be on the outside. We will want to go ahead and fill out the application and have a nurse come out to see you, then in 2-3 weeks when I bring an offer (policy) back, detailing what the company is willing to do for you, we can then go from there.
